Workshop created by Nena Metelo - Madalena Metelo. Target - public of all ages, all trainings, cultures and idioms. The Workshops present experiences that allow the participants to explore their criativity and expression, in a genuine, costumized and diferentiated way. Each sessio works several artistic fields and there are groups of thematic sessions. Art Education, the therapeutic efect of the artistic activity. Group sessions. Workshop inserted on the Workshops of Expression and Creativity, aiming to the textile arts. Contemporary approach to ancient techniques which are becoming unknown, in the areas of knitting and crochet. Presentation of the criation process of a piece in these techniques, step-by-step. Working with materials, scales and aplying modern techniques that satisfy the needs of inovation. New design, new perspective about what's already known.
Workshop inserted on the Workshops of Expression and Creativity. It intends to create a leasure, relaxing moment, while techniques of several areas are learned, in a group of known people or strangers. Each Creative Spa is dedicated to a work field - drawing, watercolor, oil painting, modeling,sculpture,knitting,crochet,embroidery,among others. The Spa is complemented by surprises,such as relaxing activities that teach important techniques to deal with daily life and a snack.
The motto to the Workshops of Creativity and Expression, as well as the motto of Nena Metelo - Madalena Metelo while being a criative. The image is from the documentary Art&Copy, about the big names in advertising and it is the inspiration of each of these initiatives.

The Workshops of Creativity and Expression have as a goal, the finding of the habilities and dreams of each person. Knowing them, each participant will have more tools to reach happiness, in harmony with what surrounds him/her.
In these activities I highlight the use of natural materials, ancestral techniques (some in extinction) and homemade knowledge that is useful and interesting. We create a mouth-to-mouth tradition, almost stories and potions that pass from generation to generation. It’s history coming alive, in the hands and by the souls of the people gathered there.
With me, there are other certified professionals from several areas, from Art to Holistic Therapies. The activities provide a complete experience and exercise of creative habits, tailored to your personality. You can, then, repeat it yourself autonomously, thus improving the quality of your life. You've got the power!

Em todas estas actividades eu ressalto a utilização de materiais naturais, técnicas ancestrais (algumas em extinção) e sabedoria caseira útil e interessante. Cria-se uma tradição de boca-em-boca, quase de histórias e mezinhas que se passam de geração em geração. É história viva, nas mãos e pelo coração das pessoas reunidas ali.
Comigo estão profissionais certificados de várias áreas, deste a Arte às Terapias Holísticas. As actividades oferecem uma experiência completa e exercício de hábitos criativos, modelados à sua personalidade. Pode, depois, repeti-los por si, autonomamente, melhorando assim a qualidade da sua vida. O poder está consigo!
