​meNENices preceded Calma, which is a project of author pieces, with original and exclusive design. I am the author, creator and the maker of each piece, as well as the Marketing, PR and Costumer Service.​​
​
The challenge - to create hand made unique, high quality accessories that convey a positive emotional message, with a closer artist-client relationship.​
The method - starting with ancestry, techniques almost forgotten or extinct, and giving them my vision. Using and reusing natural materials made in Portugal, sometimes in unusual ways. Absolute dedication applying slow processes of craftsmanship.​​ Conscious and ecological.
The target - enthusiasts of uniqueness, Art work, exclusive accessories and handmade crafts that are revisited in a contemporary and unique approach. Vegans. Made with natural and recycled / reused materials made in Portugal.

From Music, to Literature, to the Fine Arts and the Desing&Crafts movement, my work and studies have been dedicated to artistic fields. I'm a Member of Volte-Face Studies Center for Contemporary Medallics.

I am autonomous while I create and love working in teams, where everyone has a new vision, specific skills, and puts them into the project.
​
I am also interested in the Art Therapy and Alternative Therapies fields. I'm a therapist and Master in Reiki.​

​2010 - 2013
​The Expression and Creativity Workshops are courses I created after noticing the needs of the Art Training, from an emotional approach. ​
​
They gather several artistic fields in each session - from music, to drama, fine arts, drawing, ceramics, crafts like knitting and crochet, and also alternative therapies. ​The goal is to create a journey for each person, inside him/herself, through creative exercises. At the end of the journey people have routines of pure happiness and fullfilment, as well as a great deal of authonomy. These are skills people take to their daily lives, improving them considerably. They enjoy better results and a more positive approach to the possibilities before them.​
For me these are artistic activities and personal development exercises.

Since 2005, I've been colaborating with Art Galleries in Lisbon. When I came back to Portugal, from the internship in Poland, one of the galleries I had worked with before, invited me to come back. I've been with them ever since and combining this activity with my other iniciatives.

​CENCAL is known for its excellence, being the best ceramics' school in Europe. I applied and got in, to this course where I did so well that lived all kinds of important experiences. ​
​
I did an internship with a well known portuguese sculptor - José Aurélio, that gave me the oportunity to create medals and trophies (a kind of work I had begun in faculty and have done for some institutions, after graduating) in ceramics, for events. ​
​
It was also the work I did in this course that granted me an internship in Poland, at a Polish College, in which assets I left pieces.
​
During the course, I was able to apply to many contests and do several art shows, working really hard.
​
The school's team is restless and they have a marvelous quality of work. I'm proud of the quality of my training in this field, that will allways serve me well.​

​At ​FBAUL I acquired knowledge about History of Art, Aesthetics, Sculpture, Drawing, Painting, Design and so many more disciplines. ​
I met contemporary artists, and that's one of the greatest riches I brought with me.
​
I chose to learn the work with stone, ceramics, metal, plaster, medallics and trophy, plastics and resins, among others. I stayed for an extra year, in order to learn more techniques, making the most of the faculty's workshops, events, teachers and orators.
I was an entrepreneur also in this faculty, creating a Sculpture Nucleus with fellow colleagues. This group created opportunities for young artists from FBAUL to show their work at renowned portuguese institutions. It also brought speakers to lectures in that Faculty, about the practical side of the artistic world. I was the curator, PR and event planner during the time I was there and felt like fish on water. After leaving FBAUL, I kept in touch with this group's work, establishing links with Caldas da Rainha and Poland.

UNICENTER. CAP - National Vocational Qualifications Certificate.​

​This is the certificate that recognizes me to be a Vocational Trainer and a Training Coordinator in Portugal and in Europe. ​​
​
Here I acquired new techniques of personal interaction with the peers and with the trainees. I'm now able to create and moderate a vocational training, a certified course - something I do in the Trainings refered earlier in this page.
​
I'm certified to work in Portugal and in Europe, excepting some countries. If you don't know about your country's policy on this, please contact me and I'll gladly inform if I can be a trainer on your team.​
